Membership of the North Irwin V.F.C. is made up of four groups all working as one. | ||||||||||||||||
| So, you interested in becoming a member of the Dirty Dozen? Well contact us via email or call (724) 863-7015. If your a teenager interested in joining you must be at least 14 and have parents permission. | |||||||||||||||||
| Active- | Active members must be at least 18 years old, they generally have less than 20 years in the company or have not taken their honorary status, these are the majority of the members that respond to emergencies, complete training, and work fund-raisers. | ||||||||||||||||
| Jr. Corps- | Jr. Corps members are teenagers between the ages of 14 and 18 years old. As a member of the Jr. Corps they provide assistance at fire scenes, complete training to be firefighters, and work fund-raisers. They must have parents permission to join the company. | ||||||||||||||||
| Ladies Auxiliary- | The Ladies Auxiliary is made up of woman that wish to help the fire company but do not wish to respond to emergency scenes. The Ladies Auxiliary does fund-raisers, supports firefighters after returning from calls, and operates the youth bowling league. | ||||||||||||||||

| Honorary- | An Honorary Member is any past member with 20 years as an active member or 15 years in which 5 years were as an officer and they have applied for Honorary Status. Honorary Members are not required to run calls or work on fund-raisers. | ||||||||||||||||
